The entire nation has saluted the bravery of its air warriors for destroying the biggest terror camp of Jaish E Mohammad across the border. All the political parties have strongly backed the government on the strike.
India bombed and destroyed Jaish-e-Mohammed’s biggest training camp in Balakot early Tuesday.
The strike resulted in the elimination of a “very large number” of terrorists, trainers and senior commanders of the JEM.The facility at Balakot was headed by Maulana Yousuf Azhar, the brother-in-law of Masood Azhar, Chief of JeM.The non-military pre-emptive action was specifically targeted at the JeM camp.
The selection of the target was also conditioned by India’s desire to avoid civilian casualties.
The MEA also said that India expect that Pakistan lives up to its public commitment and takes follow up actions to dismantle all JeM and other camps and hold the terrorists accountable for the actions.
