Andhra Pradesh Assembly witnessed a hot exchange between ruling and opposition members during the debate on the postponement of the transfer by the TDP on the remarks of Chief Minister Jaganmohan Reddy in the House on Thursday in a discussion on the state of drought in the state.
Jagan had said that the previous TDP government did not give a single penny under the interest free loan scheme. He even challenged TDP leader N. Chandrababu Naidu for opposing his post or resigning.
After the suspension of Question Hour, when this proposal was discussed in the morning, TDP alleged that Reddy misled the house in case of interest free loan.
TDP legislator N Ram Naidu said that the Chief Minister has made a sarcastic remark on a senior leader with a long political career. He challenged whether Naidu would resign in the matter of interest-free loans.
