PM to video conference with farmers across the country via Namo App on Wednesday; Will discuss all issues related to foodgrains and doubling farmers income by 2022.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will interact with farmers at 9:30 AM on Wednesday. It would be a direct dialogue with farmers across the country, in which various initiatives related to doubling farmers incomes by 2022 will be discussed. The farmers will be participating through Krishi Vigyan Kendras and Common Service Centers. It will be telecast on Doordarshan, DD Kissan and All India Radio.

The Narendra Modi government is constantly working for the welfare of the farmers. agriculture has been PM modi’s biggest focus, which is led not only by plans on paper but also implementation of them at the grassroot level.

Continuing his drive to directly connect with the beneficiaries of his government’s pet schemes, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will speak to farmers on issues concerning them and the agriculture sector at 9:30 am on Wednesday.

Statistics show that in the last 48 months, the polices of the Centre have changed the working conditions and income of the farmers. During this interaction, Modi would be speaking to farmers on developments and advancements in the agriculture sector.

It will be broadcast live to all parts of the country from various Krishi Vigyan Kendras, Common Service Center (CSC), Doordarshan, DD Kisan and Akashwani. People will also be able to communicate with the Prime Minister through ‘Narendra Modi App’. The Prime Minister’s interaction with the farmers will discuss various aspects related to doubling the income of farmers by the year 2022.

PM Modi’s dialogue with farmers from across the country is possible by just gathering at agricultural science center located across the country.

Krishi Vigyan Kendra is a major institution that helps promote agriculture in the country. Established in Puducherry in 1974 ther are 690 centers across the country. Let us a take a look at its salient features.

— Now the government’s goal is to double the income of farmers of the country by 2022.

The emphasis of the government is to provide adequate technical support to the farmers for better production of the crop and to provide one and a half times the cost of them. Overall, the government is constantly trying to empower farmers. The PM’s interaction will help him get first hand information from the farmers about what more needs to be done for their growth and increased productivity.
