PM interacts with beneficiaries of healthcare efforts of Centre

Prime Minister Narendra Modi holds interaction through NaMo App with beneficiaries of various healthcare efforts of the Centre, including Pradhan Mantri Bharatiya Janaushadhi Pariyojana, cheaper stents, dialysis and knee implant schemes; PM says Government is establishing robust systems to ensure the poor have access to top quality of healthcare.

The entire ‘samvad’ available on different social media platforms like NAMO App, Youtube and Facebook. The purpose of the interaction is to get to know as to how these initiatives have brought changes in the lives of patients, especially the poor and to elicit first-hand feedback from them.

Prime Minister in his tweet said, the Central Government is establishing robust systems to ensure the poor have access to top quality healthcare. It is our Government which has had the honour to launch the world’s largest healthcare programme, Ayushman Bharat. This programme will benefit 50 crore citizens.

As part of a series of interactions via Namo App Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday interacted with entrepreneurs and innovators from across the country.

PM Modi used technology to reach out to young people gathered in Incubation centres and Tinkering Labs. The entrepreneurs shared their experiences about start up India and Atal innovation Mission with PM Modi.

Speaking to those gathered PM said that adequate capital, courage and connecting with people are required for excelling in the start-up sector. He said start-ups are no longer confined to big cities. Even smaller towns and villages are emerging as vibrant start-up centres.

He said that with NDA govt’s initiatives in past 4 years, vibrant start-up centres are also expanding in the tier-2 and tier 3 cities.
